Interesting facts from 1978 - 1979

This session represented the 200th Anniversary of Masonry in America. A special Fraternal Relations Committee was appointed to present a salute to Masonry and a Masonic pageant at the session.
All Grand Masters, and presiding Officers of other Masonic bodies were invited to attend the unofficial opening of the session.
It was voted to continue the Supreme Publication now to be called the Supreme Herald.
The term of office for the Supreme Scribe and Supreme Treasurer is to be limited to 10 years. There are to be no further honorariums given after next tenure of office.
Great-granddaughters of Master Masons were made eligible for membership.
